Join us for a festive celebration of the fall harvest and the beloved pumpkin at our annual Pumpkin Day at Wellington County Museum & Archives! This free, family-friendly event is packed with activities and entertainment for kids of all ages. We ask attendees to please bring a cash or food donation for the Centre Wellington Food Bank.

- Professional Pumpkin carver – see an expert carver transform a 75-100 pound pumpkin into a work of art
- Pumpkin Carving Competition – show off your carving skills! Each family can carve a pumpkin on site (while supplies last). Top pumpkins will be recognized with an award
- African Drumming Circle – Try your drumming skills in a vibrant drumming session with an African Drummer
- Indigenous Storytelling – Experience captivating stories from an Indigenous Storyteller
- Face Painting – Talented face painters will transform faces into magical designs
- Reptile Show – Get up close and personal with fascinating reptiles
- Live Music – Enjoy live performances by local musician Paul Whittaker and the Centre Wellington District High School band, Felix
- Live Dance – Delight in the performances by our local dance troupe The Blue Bonnet Lassies
- Free treats – Cotton Candy, Pumpkin Ice Cream (while quantities last)
- Food for Purchase – Flava Jamaican Patties, Groovy Grilled Cheese
