Fabulous Fergus Pub Night

This year’s Pub Night on Wednesday, June 19th, hosted a record 120 participants. Over $2,000 was raised to help combat food insecurity in Centre Wellington. The storms that rolled through didn’t dampen the enthusiasm or enjoyment for this year’s attendees. Three groups of 40 people were led to their next pub destination on this progressive dinner by a trombonist, a piper or by two knowledgeable historians.

A huge thank you to The Breadalbane Inn, The Goofie Newfie and The Brew House on the Grand for helping us to host Pub Night. It’s not an easy feat to serve three separate courses of food to three sets of 40 guests who all arrive at the same time, approximately an hour apart! These pubs did it effortlessly. The food was great and the staff were all amazing.

Here’s a quote from a first time Fabulous Fergus Pub Night participant:
The places we went were all excellent with good food and awesome friendly service. The musicians were funny, engaging and gave us such a fun form of entertainment for our walks. They were masters of their instruments! The photographer was a very nice man who also seemed to take pride in his craft. I haven’t laughed that much in many months and truly enjoyed the experience.”
