Sensational Elora presents Tim Murton’s Twilight Zoo
Sensational Elora volunteers have been spending many hours throughout the summer repairing and improving the critters in the Twilight Zoo for display throughout Monster Month in Elora. Over 100 spooky Twilight Zoo Monster sculptures will be installed in green spaces and on buildings throughout Elora downtown for the month of October. Come out and take the tour during the day, some of the critters are best viewed in daylight. Come again at night; when many of the sculptures are lit up, adding to their spooky charm.

WANTED!! Competitors for the Sensational Soup-Off
Everybody loves soup, and every country, nationality, and region has their favorite. In the spirit of Olympics 2024, Sensational Elora invites you to showcase your soup at our annual Sensational Soup-Off at the Wellington County Museum on Monday, October 14th.
The Sensational Soup-Off and Empty Bowls has been our major fundraising event since its inception. Each year, up to 18 soup makers join us to compete for the prestigious title of “Super Souper of the Year” in three categories: Professional, Amateur, and Youth. The winner of each group will take home a beautiful, one-of-a-kind soup ladle donated by Metallic Evolution at Styll boutique.
Hundreds of soup lovers will be out to enjoy a diverse selection of soups while relaxing with a beverage and enjoying live music throughout the afternoon. Join us and display your soup-making skills to a crowd of enthusiastic soup lovers while embracing the Olympics theme to create a soup inspired by your favourite geography or nationality. We can’t wait to see (and taste) your sensational soups!

Fun Fact!
There are over 100 spooky monster sculptures in the Twilight Zoo. They are made of wire, cheesecloth, tissue paper and glue, and with care, they can manage their reign for the full month of October for Monster Month!
